Harry smiled gratfully, glad that there were at least a few members of the Order who didnt think he was just some kid who couldnt look after himself and had to be protected all the time. He finished what was on his plate remarkably quickly before standing and levitating his plate to the sink.
"I'll be back in a few minutes. I'll go dump my stuff in Sirius' room then I'll be down and we can go. Sooner we go, the sooner we can get back. Okay?" With that the brunette disappeared up the staircase and was gone, his footsteps still hear on the ceiling above the kitchen as he ran up the stairs two at a time.
"He seems eager" James commented, watching as Harry ran off to put his luggage in Sirius' old room. He paused for a moment before looking at Daya with a smile. "I should do this report before the meeting. Lupin said he wanted it as soon as possible, and he's back with in the abandoned underground stations the werewolves in a few days. Its better to get the information to him now than wait til he gets back."
James didnt really like the idea of Remus going off alone all the time, but he was the only werewolf in the order and had some standing with the other outcast lycantropes that had gone into hiding to avoid Voldemort.
"As soon as I've finished with this stuff about Muggle and Wizard relations, I'm off with Hagrid. I didn't think we would be asking centaurs to fight.. Not with the way things have been recently" Everybody knew the centaurs had been very anti-Ministry since the inscident with Dolores Umbridge, but Dumbledore once had very good standing with the centaurs, and Hagrid had always shown them kindness and respect. Maybe some would have a change of heart, since it was their way of living that the Order were trying to protect as well

She smiled at Harry as she watched him go up the stairs. He was such an energetic and excitable kid, it made her happy to see him in a seemingly good mood. Daya knew that he had the weight of the world on his young shoulders - always had probably - and it made her feel for him.
"Yes, he does seem eager. I trust him though, Harry's a smart boy." She too lifted her plate to the sink with her wand, but then refilled her glass with more butterbeer.
She nodded at James. "He said he'd be leaving in two days, he wanted to spend some time with Harry in betwen the meeting and when he leaves. And you're right.... hell, it might be useful for him to have the information when he gets to the underground."
Daya was silent as he mentioned the centaurs, and for awhile after. Daya personally was not a fan of asking the centaurs. She didn't particularly like asking any creature other than witches and wizards to help them fight their battle, but knew that since He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was doing so, she would have to put up with the Order following suit.
"How long do you think you and Hagrid will be gone for? And are you just going to talk to Blaine and the others in the Forbiddon Forrest?"

Harry returned moments later, but quietly this time; he hung back a few moments to listen at the door. One thing he didn't like about MadEye Moody was that when he was around it had been impossible to evesdrop on conversations. But he wasn't here, so hearing what James and Daya had to say was a lot easier.
James smiled a little. "Remus misses Harry. I'm surprised he wasnt here when you and Harry arrived actually. He said something bout needing to talk to Harry about some things.. And of course there' Dumbledore's will, which nobody has talked about yet..." He broke off, looking at the wooden table as if it was the most fascinating thing on the earth. He wished Dumbledore was still with them; everybody in the Order had the same grief.. But they would continue. Like Albus would have wanted.
"Hm? Oh, Hagrid and I.. Well, you can never tell with Centaurs. Funny folks. But there are three herds in the Dark Forest, and several herds around Europe.. Then I think we're going to talk to the goblins.. I was hoping we'd find out what happened to all the Bowtruckles. All the wand trees seem unprotected - not that many wands are being made with Olivander and that bloke in France disappearing.." James sighed.
Harry had heard enough. He knew Olivander had disappeared the previus summer, and it didnt surprise him to know another wand maker had vanished. It was Voldemort's doing - after all, he probably thought the less wizards fully trained and with a decent wand, the better. "I'm ready" Harry said, re-entering the room with a smile

Daya nodded. "He had mentioned something about wanting to talk to Harry to me, too. I knew he wouldn't be here, though, I guess there's something going on with Tonks on her family he needed to tend to. He didn't tell me the details." Daya wished he had. She had taken a liking to Tonks and her humorous nature, and wanted to know if something is wrong.
She was surprised about the Goblins. The centaurs made sense to join up, as most of them had a good relationship with Albus. "Do you think we have a chance with the goblins?" she asked. From how it always was when she was at Gringotts, Daya didn't think that the goblins were the biggest fans of wizards.
Even still though, she supposed that they should ask.
Daya was silent as she thought about Olivander and the French bloke going missing. She knew it had to be You-Know-Who's work, and the missing bowtruckles were probably his fault too. It was terrible. Daya only hoped that the students of Hogwarts were safe this year.
She almost jumped when Harry announced himself. She hadn't heard him coming and, honestly, had been too deep in her thought to think about it.
"Alright, Harry, then lets go. You'll stay here then, James?" she asked, making sure. He could tell the others that they would be back shortly once they started arriving for the meeting.

James nodded silently as Daya spoke. He knew that many things that had happened were only the beginning or much worse things to come. He'd never been good at Divination, but anybody could see that the wandmakers disappearing, the wand trees being unprotected only ment that Voldemort was up to something bad. What could he possibly want except to stop wands being made.. And surely if that was the case, he would have destroyed or stolen the massive stock in Olivanders store.. As far as James knew there was no damage to the shop in Diagon Alley at all.
"Goblins are tricky. They'll do what they want, there will be no forcing them. Once they've made up their minds they'll stick to it. We're probably going to have to bribe them. The Ministry dont seem keen on giving them more rights. It'll be the only way to ensure they join us and not You Know Who"
Although James had agreed with Dumbledore and Hermione that fear of a name only increased the fear of the thing itself, he did not use Voldemort's name. He suspected that if Voldemort was trying to inflitrate the Ministry he would put a taboo on his own name.
Harry smiled at them both, an almost guilty look in his eyes for hearing their conversation. "Okay then. How are we travelling? I'm not supposed to Apperate yet.." He said softly

Daya nodded. She too wondered what the Dark Lord was planning on doing with Olivander and the French wand maker. He didn't seem to be so evil that he wanted to stop magic, but if not then what was his intention? Daya only hoped that Olivander and the French bloke were okay.
Daya shrugged. She worked for the Ministry, and though she worked for the Department of Magical Games and Sports, she could tell that the Ministry is being very careful to avoid infiltration. Of course, that doesn't mean that it hasn't already happened, because she was sure of it. "Promising the Goblins more rights might be the only way to go though... Scrimgeour probably doesn't want to do it, but that could change." Or not. She knew Rufus decently well, as she worked closely with Ludo Bagman often and got to know him through Ludo.
She turned to Harry and smiled as she levitated her now-empty mug of butterbeer to be cleaned. "Well, you can side-along Apparate with me, or we can go by Floo to the Leaky Cauldron."

James nodded, but said no more. He knew the Goblins were tricky. They wanted wands because of principle more than anything. Not because they anted more power, just because wands was a thing that wizards kept to themselves. All non-human magical creatures envied the wand masters.
James stood, taking a last sip of his butterbeer before magically disposing of the glass. "I suppose I'll see you later then. Make sure you both stay safe" And he looked at Harry with a slightly concerned expression. The boy had a knack for trouble, and although could handle himself, it would be wise for Harry to be cautious.
Harry smiled at James as the older man stood and left the room with words of warning. He turned back to Daya. "Side along apperition is fine by me. Easier than fussing with Floo" He said simply, shrugging as he put his hands in his pockets to check he had his invisibility cloak and wand safely in there. He also had the silver fake Horcrux around his neck still. A reminder.

"Bye James," she nodded and waved. Daya turned to Harry. Side-along apparation also is less risky than floo these days, she thought to herself.
"Alrighty, let's get going then!" She did a quick clean-up spell to get rid of the dishes and turned to Harry. She put her arm around him and with a loud POP! they were gone.
