He looked at her as if she were stupid. "My needs are far less important than the needs of my Lord, I follow his command and do what He asks. He wants to wait, do not assume you know things you know nothing of little girl." He was beginning to get annoyed with her pretentious ways. She thought she knew so much, she thought she had everything figured out. Jason didn't doubt her intelligence, but she knew far less about following the Dark Lord and what that entailed than she seemed to think she knew.
"Exactly. Nobody has any part of this except the two of us and my Lord, that's what I asked you to keep your mouth shut."
He laughed as she had her precious last words, then he magically unlocked the door for her to ran off to the Slythern common room, probably to cry. Jason thought she was trying to feign confidence to scare him, but it took a lot more than a spitfire young girl to make Jason feel even slightly uncomfortable. He had killed, he had betrayed, he had seen things that would make her skin crawl. She would experience it all soon enough, and she would realize that Jason was just like any other Death Eater, and Syrine had the distinct possibility of becoming just like them. She was angry and Jason didn't doubt they would battle at least once, but that would come in time.
For now, he must let his Dark Lord know the news.
