Syrine walked slowly into Professor Caldwell's classroom she felt the strong urge to turn and run, what trust she had for this man before had been lost, from the warning in her dreams. "Professor?" she peered into the room unsure before taking a step in. "It's Syrine.. I got your message you wanted to see me?" She said, but the room was empty. Well great now she was talking to an empty room as well as all out going crazy, she might as well just throw on a straight jacket now.
She still her her school books from charms in her hands and under that journal that Jack had given her, to keep her safe. She had never met anyone as remarkable as Jack, besides for also being a seer, he was determined. She felt that he was important, an important part of something. He could change a turn of events a million times over.
She leaned stood in silence waiting for Jason... Professor Caldwell, that one had slipped.

Jason wasn't in his classroom when Syrine arrived. He figured it would seem better that way, less "Oh I've been waiting for you" creepy and a little more relaxed.
He had a couple reasons for calling her into his classroom this afternoon, and hoped that both conversations would go well.
Syrine had probably been in the classroom for a few minutes when he strolled in, a pile of books in his arms. "Oh! Syrine, hello!" he said cheerfully. "How are you today?" He smiled at her and set the books down on his desk.

"I'm alright", she said simply, she held tight to her books. Something didn't feel right. Now that she looked at him even his smile seemed force. What was he? The vale of her strange school girl crush had slipped away from and he looked more.. dangerous.
"I'm sorry Professor, but you wanted to me? Is it about my exam, because I thought I did fairly well, did I mess it up somehow?" she asked quickly, she was babbling now, she was nervous.
She edged farther into the classroom and peered down at the books he carried with slight interest before focusing her attention back to him, wait for a response. Why had he called her in? She wasn't sure. She had been doing really well in the class so far. She was always fairly good at school, but her last exam she figured she might have mest something up. Demitri was always called in to see professor's but this was new for Syrine she always kept to herself and did what she was told.

Jason shook his head, and laughed. "Syrine... don't be so nervous. You did fine on your exam." He smiled at her as she glanced at his books, all of them being potions recipe books or books about ingredient comparisons. Nothing suspicious.
He sat down at his desk and folded his arms. "Please, sit down... and please quit looking at me so nervous-like. I just wanted to ask you something." Jason looked away from her, broke eye contact, and fidgeted with his hands. Now he looked nervous.
After a few moments, Jason looked back at Syrine with a look of confusion and fear on his face. "I wanted to ask you about that vision... that you had of me...." his voice sounded uncertain, and truth be told, Jason was kind of afraid of what it meant. "Is there anything... have you Seen anything else?" He looked away when he asked her that. Jason was acting strange, but that was only because Jason generally acted confidant. Now he just seemed vulnerable.
"The reason I'm asking," he explained, "is because I'm afraid. I'm afraid to leave Hogwarts, even to visit friends, because I'm paranoid. I just want to know if there's anything else you Saw, or anything. Please."

Syrine was taken offguard and her heart hurt for him. She was being so distant towards him and she practically had seen her death. "I.." she tried to remember, "No nothing else", she hadn't thought about that vision in awhile she was more thinking of the one she had told Jack about it's what kepther so suspiscous of everyone.
"I'm sorry I wish I could see more, but its my experience that I see what I do for reasons", she wasn't sure if she was suposed to protect this man, or where the werewolf had come from. Voldemort was the only person she knew to keep werewolves as company.
"it seemed like a forest", she offered, "nothing city-like or if it was... a park... I hope that can give you some comfort", she added she set her books in her lap and relaxed her hands.
"I can try... to see", she placed her hands in front of her for him to take. "If you'd like".

Jason watched her reaction, saw on her face that she felt bad for distancing herself, for doubting him. Syrine was so easy to read, which made her weak. It made predators like Jason easy to manipulate them to get what they wanted.
He shrugged. "I don't really go to many forests, a park would seem more likely..." Of course, that wasn't true. Jason frequented forests, especially the Forbidden one. But Syrine didn't need to know that.
Jason was actually surprised that she could attempt to re-See her vision. "You.... you can do that?" he asked, skeptical. It would be beneficial, he only hoped that she would see the truth.
He trusted her, for just a moment if that, and placed his cold hands, clammy from what he hoped she would assume were nerves, into hers.

Syrine focused, she thought as if she was starring into her crystal ball, a present from Jack, but she tried not to think of him now. She needed to clear her mind to push past what was real and see into what could be. She took a deep breath, and frowned, it was simply blank. Usually she could see the next few seconds of a person's life, but she couldn't see anything and thats when it hit her. Luck a truck, she gasped.
It was like she was hovering over a scene. She rememberred thinking the old house looked familiar in a way. Then she flew the door, as if it wasn't there. She focused, trying to see, what was going on, why was she brought here. Then she felt it.... anger... violence, the dark mark flashed in her mind. She was not supposed to be here. She wanted to run to hide away. The edge of the room were changing, decaying and there were figures in the middle now. A man kneeling, to a monster. She recognized him at once, the monster. The dark lord. She tried to cry out, but she couldn't. The man seemed to notice her distress because he turned to see her. "Jason...." She whispered outloud. Her heart nearly broke. No... he couldn't.
She wanted to get out of there to say it wasn't true. She felt like she was going to be sick. Then she saw him. Crumpled in the corner. "Jack", the second name left her lips. Then she froze captured by his poor appearence. He looked so beaten, so broken. How could they, anger coursed through her. Then she felt the pull, the will of the darkness and that's when she struck metaphorically at her vision.
She pulled away from Jason so fast she knocked her chair over as she stood up dropping her books onto the floor, she quickly grabbed Jack's journal and moved back, moving away from Jason. "You...." she couldn't even form the words because she didn't want to beleive them. "She wanted to throw something, to hit him, to run, but her fear kept her in place, you're..." she still couldn't say it.

Jason was shocked at the clarity that he was able to see her vision, but what shocked him more was the vision she just had. It was so possible... so real... it would be real soon.
As soon as she backed away Jason pointed his wand at the classroom door and locked it; he didn't need to worry about making it sound-proof, his classroom already had that charm. Nobody would be able to hear her scream but Jason himself.
"Interesting that you Saw that, Syrine...." he began slowly, his voice calm and friendly, almost jolly. He wouldn't need to be menacing now. That Sight was menacing enough. "You see... My Lord has your friend Jack." He stood there, watched for her reaction to that statement.
"You see, Jack isn't the man you thought he was. He's one of us, Syrine. He may have not let himself get Marked, but he helped my Lord very much over the past years. In fact, Jack is indirectly responsible for many deaths... including top Ministry officials. Jack has killed, too. Is he so wonderful now?" He paused again, gauging her reactions, smiling as if this were everyday conversation.

This is where Jason made his mistake he thought to hurt her with his words, "I understand Jack", was all she said simply, She didn't try the door she knew it was locked she looked for another escape, but there was none.
"Your Lord", she said the words with a spite she didn't think she ever had in her. "Will never have him". She said her trust in Jack was much stronger then one could anticipate, maybe its because she knew what he could see what he could do for the wizarding world. He would suffer greatly for the greater good. Her mind flashed to the park bench, but she was there... alone. She wasn't suposed to be there alone.
"You're going to kill him", her eyes widened. Her addrenaline was running and her mind was much sharper. She thought about reaching for her wand, but that was never her strength even if she could anticipate his movements, it wouldn't save Jack. "Why if he is working for Voldemort would you kill him, why... you can't" she couldn't say why she wasn't completely sure herself, but Jack Deblanc, must not die. He had underestimated Jack's level of honesty with Syrine. Syrine's breathing quickened.
"I'll expose you... if you kill him... i'll tell everyone", she tried. Not that she had much to bargain with.

Jason barked a cold laugh. "We have him, Syrine, you've seen that already. I've seen him in my master's basement. He's a prisoner there, too weak and pathetic to escape. His biggest mistake was not letting my Lord Mark him." And it was true. Deblanc set himself up for this, every Death Eater agreed. But every Death Eater had held Deblanc in contempt from day one.
"We can't kill him? My Lord can do whatever he bloody well pleases, Syrine. You're a foolish girl." He was mocking her new, laughing at her ignorance. She trusted Jack, but he hadn't been completely honest with her.
"Did he ever tell you about the men he killed, muggle and magical alike?" he taunted her, sneering. "Did he tell you about how he saught out my Lord? He came to my Lord, found Him, offered Him his Sight. Did he tell you about that?" No, Jack probably hadn't.
He laughed again. "Expose me? As if anyone will believe you? It took the Ministry of Magic over a year to believe Harry Potter that my Lord had returned to power, what makes you think they'll believe you?" He held out his left arm and showed her his arm, the Dark Mark nowhere to be seen. When Jason had joined the Death Eaters, he surrendered his mind to the Dark Lord instead of his left arm; Voldemort had known Jason's use in Hogwarts from the beginning.
"But.... you can save him, Syrine," he finally added, quietly.

She ignored his sneers, Jack would always have his reasons just as Syrine has hers. He would not change her opinion of the man. It was snakes like Jason, that made the world dangerous and dangerous for her, but now she was in the thick of it.
"You want my sight", she said bluntly. Syrine was never stupid or foolish. Her face clouded dark, "in exchange for his", she didn't even think about it once, consider it. "Was that what you were going to say? To draw out and torment me with, I expected you beleived I was going to cry, and be irrational before finally agreeing", she looked at him with narrowed eyes. There were things that sometimes pushed Syrine too far and she felt like another person entirely.
"One day", she paused "I will see the death of you and your Lord", she said with contempt. She seemed so much more mature, then the lonely school girl. She knew her own mind and she knew exactly what she was going to do.
"Take me to Voldemort... now", she ordered.

Jason's eyes gleamed with approval. Finally, fire.
"You're right, that's exactly what I expected of you. I'm glad you showed strength enough to stand up to me. That might save your life." He was being honest. Jason could see Syrine as a Death Eater, perhaps as Avatra's pet if Syrine could keep the fire that was just ignited alive.
She was smart, though, and Jason wasn't shocked that she figured it out. "Are you willing to give your Sight, your allegiance, your undivided devotion to my Lord?" Her use of his name disgusted him, she should show more respect and be humble, but she was young. She would learn to respect his Lord, just as she would learn that her meager 'orders' meant nothing to wizards much stronger than she.

"I will speak only with Voldemort, you are not him and have no authority, you will; however, take me to him", she said bitterly. "I suppose you'll get quite a reward, for delivering his next seer", the longer Jack stayed there the more Syrine feared for his life. "So you should stop wasting time", she felt the urge to roll her eyes as if he was giving her a speech or something of what she must do.
She will do nothing until she saw Jack and herself made sure he was alive. Her hands went to her hips and she gave Jason a bored look. She was going to be around people like him for awhile, and she might as well get used to looking down on them, she was a seer and important. For once, that gave her power, and pull. She could save someone, for once.
"I do beleive I said now!" she added, she didn't know why he was stalling she made sure her wand was securily in her pocket. Perhaps he wanted to torment her longer, she would give him no such pleasure.

Jason laughed at her. She was hilarious. Really? She was going to pull that act?
"Quit acting like you have any authority here, little girl. I will take you to my Lord but I will do it at a time that conveniences Him and is safe for the two of us to leave Hogwarts. You should be smart enough to have thought that one through with the way you're acting, but apparently you aren't." Jason was not impressed, and he found it hilarious that she would think that taking a strong tone would make him bend to her will. Who did she think he was?
The girl had no reason to be so condescending and pretentious. Sure, she was a Seer, and sure his Lord needed her, but that did not give her this authority that she somehow thought she had. Jason would normally be annoyed by the ignorance of young witches and wizards, but he only found her humorous.
He knew she was worrying about Jack's life, and wanted to go to the Riddle house as soon as possible to save him quicker. Speed wouldn't make a difference, Jack knew enough of his Dark Lord to know that, but he wouldn't tell Syrine. It was fun to play with the emotions of a girl like Syrine. "I'll let you know when my Lord wants to see you. It will be soon. Until then you will keep your mouth shut and act as if you know nothing. I will know if you say anything to anyone, even your brother." Jason's eyes narrowed.

Syrine glared, "You mean time conveinent for you, so you don't seem suspicous", she added. Syrine of course could request to leave for a family emergency or anything really if she so chose to. She would certainly have to make up some sort of story for her dissapearence something to tell her brother and mother. Mostly so Demitri wouldn't come after her. She would tell him she's away, learning to control her sight.
She let Jason's treatment of her pass by her as if she had heard nothing. She ignored his orders until her brother's name was mentioned. "My brother and family are to have no part of this", she shot as soon as the words entered his mouth. "They are never to know".
She surveyed the man she once admired, he was more like a snake now. More cold and horrible. She knew the seer would have plenty of pull with the Dark Lord, what had Jack called him? Riddle. Seers were always used in wars, both sides had them. Somehow they always stood seperate, never bending to anyone's will, but their own and Syrine was now apart of that legacy and she was determined to not dissapoint. If she would be taking Jack's place and lving in that terrible place she saw in her vision, then she would be cold and hard like Jack, as strong as Jack, because afterall she wanted to survive this.
"You're revolting, and they will see it in the end", she added, letting him figure out if it was a fortelling or if she was just blowing off steam, she left after that. She wouldn't stay for class to watch Jason fall into the role that was professor. She walked quickly away straight to her room and fell into bed and did the only logical thing a girl who was about to be forced to do the very thing she hated, she cried, before centering herself and pushing her emotions away, hiding them where only she could find them.
Perhaps, she had her own agenday as well... step one, destroy Jason Caldwell.
