The Ministry aren't doing enough, now that Voldmeort had returned, and she has insisted she is needed where the war is. Though she is not part of the Order of the Phoenix, she does know aboutt hema nd support them as much as possible.
School Attended (If Hogwarts please include House): Hogwarts - Ravenclaw
Bloodline: Muggleborn
Family History: Both her parents worked as doctors in a hospital in Muggle London; they met in their young years when they were both training as doctors, and then married when they had both graduated from Medical school. Alex soon came along, possibly too soon into the grand scheme of things, but because of the smaller age gap between parents and child, they seem to have a better understanding of eachother. The family is close; Alex is the only child and the only magical member of the family. Her father, David Lynx, and her mother, Simone are proud of their daughter, although a little confusd about the entire magic affair.
Alex was invited to Hogars at eleven, like all potential students. She was automatically liked and made friends quickly; she was sorted into Ravenclaw and though she was intelligent, she ahd a certain disregard for the rules. She was very keen on learning, obiously, but focused her attention on subjects less expected of Ravenclaws; potions, herbology, transfiguration and charms were necessary, but she also undertook professional flying lessons and muggle studies.
Eventually she graduated Hogwarts with five 'Outstanding' NEWTs and a qualification in flying. She spent her first summer training the Manchester United Quidditch team before going back to study at St.mungo's as a healer..
Other Family Members and Pets: Has a wolf-like dog called Moon
Physical Description:
Alex is relatively tall with a slim, supple figure. She's got dark warm eyes an a glistening smile, which is terribly infectious. Her hands are always clean and very soft; her entire life does revolve around health afterall. She usually wears Muggle clothes with her healers unifrm coat over the top; Muggle jeans, jumper and the pale green overcoat. And boots. She loves boots.
Her hair is dark, usually pinnd up in some lavish design, but its practical as well, keeping off her face and out of her way.
When out and off duty, she'll be seen wearing all sorts of different clothes for different occasions. For a healer, she is very social, and is often seen at parties, clubs, pubs, or just out with friends.
Personality:
Alex is a very social creature; she's smart and likable, with a certain charm. Very rarely does she find herself in a situation she can't talk her way out of, and with htat immense vocubulary she can usually sweet talk out of anything. Her eyes are gentle and many people feel they can trust Alex. She's just one of those people thats so gentle you wonder if she'd ever harmed a fly in her life.
But she's not to be taken for a push over. She's very good at defending herself, despite not taking DADA at Hogwarts for her NEWTs. She's wicked with a wand, and her healing is second to none. Alex has even been working on cures for bitten and turned Vampires, Werewolves and is also trying to figure a cure for cancer. Call her wonder woman, but Alex rarely seems to be standing still.. Or might that have something to do with a certain hour-glass necklace she has under her top?

The world was already dark, the sun had sunk from the skies and now only the last whisps of warm colour were on the horizon. The rest of the world was in a silk sheet of twilight purple, the odd siler twinkling star peeking from above.
Feverishly, Alex stirred. The cauldren as bubbling with an ice blue liquid and although it looked pretty, but it smelt like vinegar and made the young womans nose burn. She loathed this potion, but it was brilliant. Simplistic, effective, but horrible to brew. And it had to be done at a silly hour. Eight o'clock star, half past nine finish. If anything went wrong, then the potion would be useless. Like drinking water. Least there were no terrible side effects though.
"Three springs of mistletoe.." She uttered aloud, entring the last few ingredients and stirring one more. The liquid shimmered silver in the pale light, and Alex knew it was finished. Tapping the flame with her wand, Lynx levitated several flasks and started to ladel the potion into them. Once done, she scribbled a few notes and stuck them to the glass flasks. 'For burns, rashes and nasty allergic reactions' Said the loopy writing on the containers of the silvery substance.
"Thank Merlin for that" The young woman sighed, pushing a hand through her hair as she slipped off her Healers coat and hung it up on the hook. Another day over. Another week done. The weekene was here. Cheers..
