He could never really count on George being on time especailly when they had something un-fun and important to do. Like reveiwing applicants to assist with the store in Diagon Alley since for awhile their attention would be diverted to Hogsmeade. Where they were making plans for the second Weasley Wizard Weazes.
He leaned back waiting for the first applicant to arrive he hadn't even bothered looking at teh files or the credentials he didn't particularly care, he wanted someone who could handle their certain feild of work.
George bursted in breathless, "its a madhouse out there", he shrugged simply "School supplies buying time and half the stores are still closed jesus they're starting early".
Fred simply shrugged, "We should probably open soon, since we have all those important school supplies in our store now" he smiled deviously. Talking about thier new back to school section.

The general mood of Diagon Alley felt different from the last time James remembered he was here. But that was nearly a year ago and since then alot had happened. Being part of the Order he knew as much as they knew about the war. It wasn't looking great. But life went on, and James had expected Diagon to be busy and noisy as ever, even though it was still early. The sun was still pretty low in the sky, watery and pale, but it was light enough. James liked this time of day most.
Despite him being a young member of the Order, he still needed a 'real job' as his parents and friends called it. James had just shrugged, saying he'd wait until something came up. As it happens, Molly Weasley had menioned the twins were looking for staff and so here he was.
The shop front was closed but as he looked in through the large window, James could just make out two firey redheads and he grinned to himself. Tapping on the window, he hoped that it was the right day for interviews and waited to be invited in.

"Door", Fred called from the inventory room.
"Got it", George called with a shrug, like he couldnt hear the tapping himself, course the person could have just walked in, but George didn't think much of it. He wasn't really one to judge. He pulled open the door and a grin reached his face.
"Oi Hart, didn't think you actually took mum seriously when she said we needed help, get in here", he smiled and held the door for him.
Fred smiled upon site of their first applicant, maybe he should have looked at the files afterall. "Jamsey!!!" he squeaked like a little girl, jumped up and down a few times and clapped his hands. "Squee", he said dramatically. His little fit ended with himself in laughter.
"Fred, profressional" George reminded him with a slight grin.
"Oh.. oh ya right", George straightened up, "Welcome my good man", he said in a "professional voice".

James grinned, his hands in the pockets of his jeans as he was greeted by George, before taking a few steps into the shop to see Fred and he couldnt help but laugh.
"Merlin, you know Molly, can't say no to the woman who makes the best strawberry tart in England.. Besides, I keep getting pestered to get a 'real job'.." James paused for a moment, glancing around the shop he practically knew by heart already.. "So I have no idea why I'm here" He added with a cheeky grin. He remembered last time he was in the shop, some time last year, watching as the twins had given a demonstration of their stock. He'd laughed for hours.. Or maybe that was the giggle gas.
"I can't believe you used the word 'Fred' and 'professional' in the same sentence" Hart smiled, drinking in every detail. Man he'd missed being a student. The pranks and the twins, the Gryffindor parties and all that. "He's like a big kid who just got told he's getting a Firebolt 360"

"Ya Mum is kinda like that, I swear she'd be holding a wand to someones head" Fred smiled. "She has the same effect without it though".
George chuckled, "You my good man are here to apply for the very esteemed position in our store". He winked, "so start impressing us", he folded his arms across his chest.
He paused for a second then stood up "well i'm pretty damn impressed", he glanced to his brother, "Fred?"
"Hes just so cute", Fred pretended to gush. "I guess he can stay".
Fred laughed, "Ya me and professional is like George and smooth, but he tries so hard", he said doing a mock baby voice and pinching his brothers cheek.
"Oi" George knocked his hand away, "So lets get started, you man the counter", he pointed at Fred who saluted, "You pretend like your working, and occasionally ask costumers if they need help" he pointed at James, "And welcome to your first "real" job" he chuckled.
