Greg tapped teh arms of his chair rythmically as he sat in the department of misuse of magic, his brother, mother, and himself were once again required for questioning. Because of who his father was, who his uncle is the two pureblood boys were doomed to be a suspect in an murder that had even a feature of the massacre his father and uncle and commited. He sighed, he had already had his turn now his brother was being questioned, Landon never took it well.
It was his mother that really worried him, the beautiful, regal woman, sat straight with perfect posture, her hair perfect, her make-up perfectly done. She was gorgeous still, even for her age. Many questioned whether it was natural.[/color]

"Okay, see you tomorrow, Will," Kyle chuckled, walking out of an office and shutting the door. He rolled up the small pile of papers in his hand and tapped them in his hand. Right as he was about to step into the elevator, a familiar face caught his eye.
"Greg?" Kyle walked over with a confused, yet pleased expression. "What are you doing in here?" He hadn't seen Greg in a while, though did hear about him from time to time through Annie, of course. It wasn't like Greg to be causing any serious trouble, though, and if he had...Kyle would have heard about it. So, he wondered what Greg was doing sitting in a seat in the department of the misuse of magic.

Greg's mother lifted her head once to take notice of Kyle and then dropped it back down. "Umm" he scratched the back of his neck, how does one explain that ministry more or less harasses his family whenever they feel like it. The Regal woman, who was his mother let out a "pft" noise, again her distaste for the Noton family was not unknown in the Terrance household.
Greg stood, and walked off a bit from the woman, nodding for Kyle to follow, "Sorry bout that?" he shrugged a bit, the woman was never going to change her mind there was nothing he could do about it.
"Anyway back to the why i'm here thing", he rolled his eyes, "The Auror that put my father in Azkaban the first time and killed him the second has gone missing", he said formally just as the questioner read it to him, "and since it seems we should have some sort of grudge against this man, they brought us in for questioning, even though my mother was never involved with my father's dealings" he sighed. "But with Landon being Slytherin, they seem to think hes destined to follow in his footsteps". Greg frowned. He felt a bit guilty considering he thought the same about his brother a few months ago, that was before they both hexed their uncle to hell throw a window and out of their manor.

Even though Greg's mom didn't like him...or his family, Kyle figured he may as well be polite to her anyway. "Mrs. Terrance," he nodded with a friendly smile, then followed Greg a few steps away. "Hmm? Oh, that's alright. Don't worry about it."
Kyle listened and nodded intently. "You obviously haven't done anything, so you should be out of here soon. But I don't doubt they're going to try and bring you in here again." He frowned, not enjoying the thought of Greg and his family having to continue coming back for no reason. "They've got Landon in there now?"

Greg sighed, "Ya Landon isn't exactly as reasonable as I am", he shrugged. His brother had a tendency to get them in more trouble and keep the investigation going with his sarcasm and temper. "They think he's dangerous". It was true a bit ago his brother had all the potential of becoming a deatheater, but something had changed in him and he never knew what it was. He had a guess though, that the pretty muggle girl who hung around him and his brother's favorite restaurant might have had something to do with it, pity she went back to America for the school year.
"It's not a big deal really, just a hassle", plus he didn't like the idea of his mother reliving those sorts of memories she was weak enough as it was. It was all the house elves could do to coax her to eat and try to keep her strong. Their father had left them all tainted he suposed.

"Mmm...well, they'll realize nothing is wrong with your family. Just have a few bad relatives is all." Kyle smiled. "Just as we all do." He winked and patted Greg on the back, hoping to cheer him up a bit.
"Oh, but I'm glad I ran into you. Annie was looking for you the other day, and was worried when she couldn't find you. You should let her know you're fine, you know how she is." Kyle mentioned. Annie hadn't been going crazy, but did mention it a few times, and didn't seem to be thrilled that she hadn't heard from Greg in a couple days.

Greg frowned, "Ya I meant to send her an owl" he cringed, "she's going to kill me", he had meant to send her and owl two days ago and then put it off till yesterday, and then once again till today and he had nearly forgotten again.
"She gets all" he did a guesture that a crazy person might make, "When she thinks something might have happened", he shook his head, the girl might have cared too much, but he liked it.

"Yeah, that's about it," Kyle nodded to the gesture Greg made. "But so do the other girls, meaning Kate and my mum." He smiled, leaving himself out of it. In all honesty, he was really the same way when it came to his family and now Sophie. If she came back to the office with a scratched up face, Kyle was ready to pounce on whoever did it. Though he was getting a little better now...considering Sophie didn't always enjoy him doing that.
"She'll be fine once you let her know though. I'm sure she's driving the family crazy back home, and that she's been past your house quite a few times." Kyle chuckled and shook his head.
