It had infuriated him enough that the filthy wolf of a woman had been able to overcome him, but now that he was holed up in a prison cell made Zaine seethe. The damned ministry had added extra protection around his cell and forced handcuff type braces around his wrists that, for some reason, he was unable to break free from.
For the last two hours, Zaine had lay on the cot, unmoving, and just wondering what the Ministry was planning on doing with him. The only thought keeping him from bursting in fury was the high percentage of him being able to break free sometime soon. And maybe he'd be able to overhear some information, but maybe he wasn't that lucky.

"- But I dont even know what-" "You'll be fine. You've read-" "-His file, yes. Helpful.." The voices belonged to a male and a female, obviously the male being the superior in the situation. There was a moments silence then footsteps away and a sigh. There were a few more seconds while the woman composed herself before a door creaked open. Looking through the bars of the door, Taxxi's dark eyes fell on the Italian looking man in the cell. His dark curly hair and complexion was different of other Vampires she'd encountered. Most were deathly pale and their hair was sleek.
"Zaine Vavasco. Is that correct?" She asked, her voice steady and calm. Of course, she knew that while she was outside the cell she was perfectly safe. Well, not perfectly safe, but as safe as she could possibly be in such a situation. Only thing was her boss, the idiot that he was, wanted her to go inside and talk to him. Phsh, fat chance of her doing that without being on every Muggle recreational drug under the sun. Though in all honesty, she was angry at her boss for making her do this inthe first place. Yes, she had nearly passed her Auor exams, but that didnt mean she was any where near qualified to be hosting interviews with Vampires. The stinging thought that maybe her boss was insane or under the influence of an Imperius had crossed her mind several times in the last few months, but he seemed to be aware of his actions when she had confronted him. She shook the thought for now.
"I've been.. requested-" (the word was laced with sarcasm) "-to get some information from you. Will you co-operate or shall I send you out into the sun now?" The woman was blunt at least. No point beating around the bush. He would know if she was stalling anyway. The only real comfort was that she ha her wand in his hand and he was trapped in magical shackles which wouldnt break open without some seriously amazing wandcraft.

Hearing everything before the two were even close to the door to the room the cells were in, Zaine rolled his eyes. Wonderful. A woman to come and receive information that she would never get. This was all just a giant thorn in his foot. It was such an annoyance to have to play this game. Did they seriously think they would be able to get very much out of him?
When the woman spoke to him, he didn't even move. After mentioning the sun, he rolled his eyes into her direction. Well, at least she wasn't trying to lengthen this in any way. "What do you need to know?" Zaine spoke after a minute or two. His theory was that if he started the game early, maybe it would also end early.

"We'll start with the basics shall we?" The young woman said, snapping her fingers and grabbing a clipboard which appeared from nowhere. She sifted through a couple of papers on the board before sighing again and looking at the Vampire in his cell.
"You're a Death Eater. Yes? Turned by one Miss. Evangeline Crowe? Dont worry, we already know about her, no need for you to go spiling her secrets. I'm sure there's some magical law against betreaying your Sire.." Tax said, her voice almost sounding bored. True, she didn't want to be here, but she could at least pretend to make an effort. This was simple formality. When she got down to the real business, she'd probably get hard with her words. Her eyes were still focused on the notes in fornt of her as she continued to talk through the bars of the door
"You do realise its bad manners to completely blank somebody while they're talking to you, right?" It was only then when she glanced up to look at the monster in the cell. Her eyes lingered a moment on his ruggish appearance. Handsome in his own way, but most vampires had a certain appealing appearance. In fact Tax had never met a vampire who was unattractive.. Probably part of their charm. Tilting her head to one side, she spoke again
"So, Zaine. Tell me about what Voldemort has planned for you and your nocturnal buddies. It's common knowledge he'd recruiting as many vampires and werewolves as he can."

Zaine smiled inwardly to himself, though his face was expressionless. The woman was right, betraying your Sire was something like a sin. So, he figured ignoring the question altogether would be a much better way of going about this. "I see you've done your homework." He said plainly in an almost monotone. This was basically an incrimination of yourself. Right now, Zaine figured that he would much rather be trying to figure out what the best, and easiest, way to escape was. So, he'd be talking as little as possble.
"Oh, I'm sorry, what?" His blue eyes flickered to the woman. Now he was just playing her. He wondered how many strikes he'd have before being sent out into the sun.
"I see you haven't done your homework as well as I thought you did," Zaine said coolly. "Vampires and werewolves are enemies."

Taxxi couldnt help but smirk. He could read this routine like it was something out of a book. The whole Muggle 'Good cop, Bad cop' thing only worked when there were two cops to begin with. For several momnts, Tax simply looked at Zaine, a smile tugging at her lips.
"I see we have a joker. Well in case you were wondering, I've not paid for a comedian, so quit the wise cracks" She quickly glanced over the notes again before tossing them aside. They vanished before they even hit the floor.
"Look; I dont want to be here, you dont want to be here. Cut to the chase, tell me what I need to know. I couldn't give two moonstones about your bloodsucking circus or the full moon freaks." Her voice had suddenly become more forceful, the almost sweet lighthearted tone had been torn and all that was left was a cold sharp edge. Placing one hand on hr hip and twiddling her wand between the fingers of her left hand, Tax frowned.
"As far as I see it, you're all out to kill, so naturally it's naive sods like me who have to deal with that crap. And I'm sure you're well aware how messy it can be. So tell me and then I can hand you over to the Slayers"

Nathan King was more then pissed he was annoyed sending in some newbie Auror to question a killer and a women no less, his protective nature was pretty pissed about that part as well. Wand wouldn't save people against a vampire. Vampires took tact, nothing could hold them forever.
He didn't just walk through the door he more bursted through it not intentionally causing a scene, his eyes fell to the woman. Oh good idea send a pretty one, god knows Vamps like their women hot. "Sorry, Miss June is it?" he guessed he hadn't really took time to bother with the womens name, but that's how he rememberred it so he figured he was somewhat close.
"You can go or stay if you like, but talking means nothing to these creatures, they've lived to long to be scared by talking haven't you Zaine", his eyes fell on the Vampire with hatred oh yes they knew eachother, had quite a few encounters. "and even though most can ignore it, if you go for long enough they're acute sense will pick up pain and actually intesify it... like sunlight perhaps, he took a flashlight out of his pocket, his own specail one with a UV light.
"So Zaine tell the little lady what she wants to know because you know i'm never bluffing".

Taxxi, upon seeing the new arrival and practically being shoved out of the way by his ego, folded her arms across her chest and laughed. here was something irritating and entertaining about his entire presence. As if the Vampire would talk now. As if anybody could be scared by some smarmy jerk like him. "Trust them to send you down here" She muttered, looking at Nathen with some slight coldness in her gaze. Although most Slayers she had met had been fair and decent people, they still had manners. Where as King appeared to have none.
"Paranoid much? Give me a break... And the name's not important" The young woman said. There was a bloody good reason she hadn't mentioned her name and now teh Slyer had pretty much screwed that up for her. Men. They always had to know best. Not that Taxxi was a feminist or anything, but she really hated men who thought a young woman couldn't handle herself. Idiots had never seen her wandwork. Turning her attention to Zaine, she asked; "Is he always this rude?"
She glanced offhandedly at the torch, whcih she guessed had been adapted either by magic or some Muggle bulb, and rolled her eyes. What were wands for again? Sometimes people really didnt use their common sense. If you wanted to do something properly, you had to do it yourself.

The entire calm impression Zaine had maintained while the woman had been in the area was broken once the slayer rudely interrupted. King was one of the most annoying slayers the vampire had ever encountered, and they had run into each other multiple times. However, the boy was right about one thing: he never bluffed. And Zaine knew what that flashlight could do. How was he going to get out of this one? Well...he needed to come up with something. And quick.
Completely ignoring the woman's question about the boy, Zaine stood up and began to slowly pace the cell. "What has the Dark Lord planned for us Vampires?" he slowly repeated her original question. "Well...let's see..." for half a second he paused, but before the second passed, the cot had been ripped off of the wall and attached to the bars in front of the slayer and auror. Zaine had aimed to startle them, stall for the second he needed to keep the flashlight away from him. "So long!" Zaine called out before he concentrated with extreme difficulty on what was needed, but managed to disappear with a small poof of smoke. The handcuffs would have to be dealt with at a later time.

Nathan didn't seem upset that Zaine dissapeared, "We both know he just wants more allies in his army of misfits whats the bother with questions he should have just been disposed, great now I have to go track him down once again, do you know how slippery he is... you should probably talk to your department about vamp-proofing these cells if they're gonna put things like this in here" he looked back to Taxxi.
"Zaine learned a new trick.. " he sighed, "eh well", his words were light but it was obviosu that he was bothered by the monster still lurking around. He and Sylvia would have to get on him right away, if she was up to it that is, he wasn't sure what teh cycle was.

"Surely vamp-proofing cells is your task, you being a slayer and all. I just do what I'm told, not that my boss is really doing alot of good... Do me a favour before you go running around after that creep. Send MadEye a patronus. He needs to check out the Head of Auror's.." She said, her tone calm; even the tantrum scene Zaine had pulled had barely even made her bat an eyelid. She'd almost expected him to do something idiotic. No matter, he'd get killed sooner or later.
"Meanwhile I've still got a Death Eater to catch up with. Stupid sod has a Mislocater around his neck." Taxxi tucked her wand into her sleeve and from nowhere she swished her cloak around her shoulders. For a moment she looked at King.
"We knew he wouldn't be any help. But as far as the Ministry know, they're still my top priority. It helps to have as many of us inside as possible, so keep shtum. Its only a matter of time before there's some mindless oaf Minister who can be bribed, threatened or controlled."

"Nope sorry my task is just to kill them", he shrugged, "As soon as I can", he felt a bit chastized by the woman, like he was a little kid again and she was scorning him for being so over zealous.
"Aye", he agreed reluctantly. He wasn't the one to play such games his brain worked in a much more simple kind of way, kill the bad guys, as efficiently as possible. Not play nice to the useless organization. Too much passion for his own good, he suposed.
"I should umm", he mumbled, suddenly at a loss for words he suposed he had been quite rude to the woman. Of she was capable of handling herself. "Well Zaine will be feeding soon, the Slayer who brought him in interrupted his feeding, so I had better go", he said shifting slightly, feeling awkward.
"Evening", he inclined his head and left the room.
