With a loud POP!, Daya and Harry landed in front of the Leaky Cauldron. Of course, any of the Muggles passing by the old tavern didn't pay any notice; they were just inside the barrier so they couldn't even be seen, much less heard.
They walked in and Tom, the old toothy bartender, waved. "'Ello Daya, 'Arry," he grinned. "S'ot one today, be careful."
Daya waved back. "We will Tom. See you later."
They went to the back wall and Daya took out her wand, and counted the bricks to the entrance. When the wall opened up to Diagon Alley, she smiled. No matter how many times she did that, it always impressed her. I guess that was part of being a Muggleborn.
They stepped through the wall and looked around. It was much hotter here than it was when they were flying from Little Winging, or even at Grimmuald. "Well, Harry, where do you want to go first?" she asked.

Harry had come tot he conclusion long before that while Apperition was brilliant and useful, he much prefered flying. He'd even go on the back of a Threasal again, and that was uncomfortable to say the least.
They entered the Leaky Cauldron, where Tom the bartender greeted them. Harry said nothing but gave a small nod. He'd always been a little anxious about being in the pub. It was in that very pub where he first learned he was famous, where he first learned about his scar and he learned about Voldemort.
Once they were out into the street behind the enchanted wall, Harry smiled faintly. He'd missed Diagon alot, but it didnt look the same as the last time he remembered it. Shops boarded up, and it was quiet.
"I need to get a few books, some more potions ingredients and I want to pop into see Fred and George" Harry said when Daya asked where he wanted to go. Without meaning to be rude, he added "If you want to go anywhere else, just go ahead. I'm not going to get myself into trouble" He said with an innocent sort of smile, as if really he knew she'd not trust him to be alone but it was worth him trying.
In honest truth, he intended to go to Knockturn to look in the shops for any sign of a Horcrux. From what he had seen in the Penseive the year before, valuable magical articals often ended up in the most unlikely of places.

She smiled at Harry, knowing full well that his intentions in Diagon Alley weren't anything that the other Order members would approve of, though she didn't know what they were exactly. Remus especially would disapprove. And though Daya wasn't one to anger her fellow members, or to put Harry in any sort of danger, she felt that he was a grown boy and he could handle himself.
"That's fine, I wanted to check out the Quidditch supply shop anyways. Let's meet back here in two hours, how about? That way we make it back home in time for the evening." Daya thought that anything Harry needed or wanted to do shouldn't take longer than that, and if it did then that would mean trouble.
"If you want to meet earlier, or you need me in anyway, just send me your Patronus, alright Harry?" Even still, she had to be cautious. If Harry was hurt or lost or ran away or something while under her care and supervision, Daya would get in a lot of trouble.

Harry was surprised at how easy it was to convince Daya to let him go off by himself. If Remus, Mad Eye or Sirius had been looking after him, he'd have twelve Order members escorting him everywhere and would have no chance to disapper on his own for a while. He grinned at Daya, knowing she was putting herself in a very reckless position for him.
"Thanks... I really appreciate you bringing me here. I'm pretty sure that Mrs. Weasley would have eaten me alive if I'd suggested it to her." He chuckled slightly. He took out his invisibility cloak and with one last grin to Daya, slipped it over his head and headed down the alley. Even if he was supposed to be in a safe place, he still wanted to be extra sure. The advantage of the invisibility cloak meant nobody else knew he was here.

Daya laughed. "That's for sure, just be careful." She waved at him, hoping the grin was just one of thankfulness and not one of trickiness (though she was 99.9% certain that Harry would never do anything against Daya or the Order).
She watched him pull the invisibility cloak over his head and sighed. The boy was smart, that's for certain. Daya headed towards the Quidditch supply shop, checking back just in case he had taken the cloak off, but of course he hadn't. She sent her patronus, an owl, to watch after him from a good distance. Surely he would expect it anyways.
